As part of their commitment to provide patients in the maternity ward with excellent care, University Hospital in Coventry has committed to the Xtag Medical system for their vulnerable patients for a baby tagging system.
The hospital is part of the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust, opened in 2006, with modern facilities, 1,005 beds, 26 operating theatres and state-of-the-art equipment. In 2017, UHCW NHS Trust became the Teaching Hospital of the Year at the Health and Safety Awards.
Xtag Medical have been awarded the contract to install a baby tagging system at University Hospital Coventry. The system integrates with the existing bleep and paging system and reports all alarms events to their central security office to keep everyone aware of a possible situation.
Working with Vinci Facilities and the Trust, we have now completed the installation, training and have gone live with the system.
